The research explored the reading behaviors, preferences, and frustrations of manga audiences. A competitive analysis of existing platforms highlighted recurring challenges, including cluttered interfaces, limited personalization, and complex navigation systems. Many apps were optimized either for casual readers or for dedicated fans, but rarely addressed the needs of both groups within a single experience. Casual readers often struggled to discover new titles easily, while dedicated fans lacked effective tools for managing large collections. These insights pointed to a clear opportunity to create a platform that combined simplicity with personalization.
